Crispy Chilli Beef is a favourite in Chinese takeaways everywhere. You know it will probably be greasy and full of MSG, and it can be hit or miss: sometimes they even over-fry it so that the beef is chewy and tough. Yuck.
This recipe will satisfy two people when served with rice and lots of greens such as broccoli (there is plenty of sauce to liven it up).
